Heidi Duchess graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies. Before settling in North Carolina, she worked in higher education and social work-related settings throughout the Midwest, where she discovered a deep passion for walking alongside individuals in seasons of transition, challenge, and personal growth.

Heidi is honored to be part of the team at Living Water Counseling, serving as the first point of contact for new clients seeking therapeutic support. She considers it a true privilege to help individuals take the courageous first step toward healing by connecting them with a counselor who can walk with them through their journey. 

In addition to her work at Living Water, Heidi finds great purpose in serving with Celebrate Recovery, a local Christ-centered, 12-step recovery ministry. There, she works closely with women navigating the healing process from painful life experiences. Her heart is to offer encouragement, hope, and truth in a safe and grace-filled environment.

Heidi and her husband, Bill, live in Apex, where they enjoy biking, cooking together and working in the yard . Heidi is currently preparing to return to school to pursue a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, further equipping her to serve others with compassion in a clinical setting.
