Amelia is dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic about helping others experience a life full of joy. She desires to assist clients toward healing and recovery by understanding their unique experiences and addressing their challenges in a holistic manner. Her desire is for all clients to feel safe, seen, and heard as they work through their struggles. Her areas of interest include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, cross-cultural workers, self-harm, premarital and marital counseling, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem, personal growth, and life transitions, and works with adolescents (15+), women, and couples. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, using elements from theories such as Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, Family Systems, Emotionally Focused, and Gottman. She is also very comfortable to integrate biblical counseling when desired. Her goal is to empower others to enrich their circumstances or mindset to lead more fulfilling daily lives.

In her free time, she enjoys running, walking her dog with her husband, thrift shopping, and spending time with friends and family.
